SPRINGFIELD —
A beloved canine member of the Springfield Police Division has died of cancer.
Rambo, a part of the K-9 unit, passed away from complications of cancer, according the division’s Facebook page.
The post online reads, “he was an important member of our department and the community. He had a great life, doing what K-9’s do, catching bad guys and finding drugs. He was a good boy, a good partner and a great friend! Officer Fredendall did a great job with Rambo. Our hearts are broken today.”
