LEBANON, Ohio —

The Lebanon post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said today that they have filed charges of vehicular homicide against the teen driver in a Waynesville crash that killed a 17-year-old girl.

Chelsea Miller, also 17, a Beavercreek High School student, will be charged with a first-degree misdemeanor. As of Tuesday evening, no charges are yet listed in Warren County online court records.

On Jan. 26, Miller was driving the vehicle in which Alexis Smith, who was a passenger, was killed in a collision with another vehicle at South Main Street and Ohio 73. Miller and two backseat passengers were injured in the collision.
