HAGERSTOWN, Indiana —
Police said a 17-year-old boy is being held in jail in connection to several recent purse-snatchings in Hagerstown, Ind.
Officers said at least four people were victimized in the last couple of weeks. According to one of the victims, the thief charged more than $200 shortly after the theft.
Police said around midnight an attempt was made to charge more at a Meijer store in Hamilton.
According to investigators, the arrest of the 17-year-old is pending.
