GREENE COUNTY —
Dayton Power and Light is moving a new substation transformer today and it may cause delays for motorists.
The transformer is being taken from Fairborn to Bavercreek along multiple Greene County roadways. It will take up two lanes of traffic and move slowly.
It will affect drivers traveling from East Xenia Drive in Fairborn along Interstate 675, to Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Trebein Road and Dayton-Xenia Road. The move began around 10:30 a.m. today.
The DP&L equipment will be escorted by law enforcement officials.
