DAYTON —

Police arrested a wanted woman and a man who allegedly tried to hide her from them Tuesday evening.

Hollyann Honeycutt, 22, had a warrant for her arrest for contempt out of Centerville.

Dayton police received information that she may be at a Wyoming Street house so they went and knocked on the door.

According to a Dayton Police report, a man that answered the door at first claimed not to know Honeycutt, then said he knew who she was, but that she wasn’t at the house.

That man then closed and locked the door, but officers could see the top of a woman’s head through a window. Police arrested that man for obstructing official business when he continued to deny them access to arrest Honeycutt.

She was found hiding behind a doorway that was covered with a blanket and arrested on the contempt warrent. She also faces charges of obstructing official business and possession of drugs.

When she was booked into jail, she was found to have Xanex pills hidden in her pants.

Honeycutt’s bail has been set at $3,850.
