Police have identified a woman struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash last weekend.

Christina R. Fletcher, 20, was struck Oct. 14 by a gray or silver-colored car in the 2600 block of North Main Street. The driver of the car had previously struck a Ford Explorer that had stopped for Fletcher as she walked, police said.

Fletcher is a Miamisburg resident.

Witnesses told police that they observed the suspect’s vehicle heading north on North Main. Initial reports indicated that the car was missing a headlight.

A Dayton fire crew responded and took Fletcher to Miami Valley Hospital. Fletcher died at the hospital on Oct. 17.
