XENIA —
A Greene County city will host its second annual community festival this weekend.
The Xenia Community Festival will take place Friday and Saturday and include music, food, arts and crafts, vendors, a balloon glow and parade. Events will be along Main Street at Xenia Towne Square Shopping Center and the lawn of the Greene County Courthouse.
City officials said the Xenia Community Festival will not require as much police and road blocks on duty, costing less than the former festival, Old Fashion Days.
A parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and runs from Shawnee Park to Xenia Towne Square, officials said.
