A 26-year-old London, Ohio man was killed after leading police in a pursuit that ended in a crash on Ohio 73 Monday evening.

State troopers said Joseph Noble was being pursued by Clinton County deputies and Wilmington police. They said officers deployed stop sticks. Officers said Noble swerved off the right side, went left of center, and hit a car driven by Sonja R. Cayaditto, 26, of New Vienna. Her vehicle then hit another vehicle.

Noble was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cayaditto was expected to be treated and released.

The third driver was not hurt.

Police said they found evidence of alcohol consumption at the scene. They added that speed was also a factor in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
