One dead in Shelby County accident

SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio —

Deputies in Shelby County said they have identified a man who was killed Friday morning in a crash in the 19000 block of Reineke-Schipper Road east of Botkins.

The initial investigation revealed that Joseph M. Greve, 43, was driving in a field off the east side of the road and was attempting to make a left turn when for an unknown reason his vehicle rolled.

Greve was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.

Emergencies crews from Botkins Police, Jackson Center Police, Anna Police, Botkins Fire and Anna Rescue also responded to the scene.

According to deputies, the victim was driving in a field when the vehicle flipped over. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene Friday morning.
