Montgomery County —
Over 2,600 Dayton Power and Light customers were without power in Montgomery County Friday morning.
As of 6:30 a.m., 2,604 DP&L customers in Montgomery County were without power, according to DP&L. By 6:40 a.m., power had been restored to all of 90 customers.
Dayton police said a problem with a transformer possibly led to the outage. Several bright flashes reportedly came from a transformer in the area of Smithville and Airway roads shortly before the outage.
