SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP —
A man was taken into custody Saturday morning after an accident on Upper Bellbrook Road.
Sugarcreek Township police said the man was driving westbound on Upper Bellbrook Road when he tried to do a U-turn at the intersection with Fauber Road. They said he ended up going off the road, hitting a street sign, and sliding into a ditch.
The man was checked out by medics, and did not require transport to a hospital.
They added that alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash. Police said the man, in his upper 20s, failed a sobriety test.
