TROY —
A Troy man is facing three felonies and 18 misdemeanors after police say he went on a shopping spree using credit cards stolen from his mother and grandmother.
Austin Flaharty, 21, of Troy, was arraigned Monday morning in Miami County Municipal Court on three counts of theft, 12 counts of misuse of a credit card and six counts of trespassing. The theft charges are felonies.
According to police, Flaharty made around $2,000 in charges in just less than a two-month period. He bought merchandise, gasoline and made money withdrawals.
He remains in jail in lieu of $180,000 cash bond.
