Staff Report

AUGLAIZE COUNTY —

A semi that overturned on Interstate 75 near Wapakoneta Wednesday morning was carrying equipment for the bands Kiss and Motley Crue.

The crash at the Freymuth Road exit caused equipment to spill out of the truck, and led to the bands postponing a concert.

According to KissOnline.com, the truck was on its way to a concert in Detroit. In a statement on its site, the band said “We owe you the show you expect and deserve, so we’ve jointly decided to give our crews the 24 hours necessary to piece everything together to make it possible.”

The concert was postponed to Thursday night.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said no other vehicles were involved.

The crash remains under investigation.
