SUGARCREEK TWP. —
A bridge on McBee Road was temporarily closed Monday after the driver in a single vehicle crash was taken to the hospital.
Police said the car struck a guardrail on the bridge in the 1000 block of McBee, injuring the driver at approximately 2:40 p.m.
The woman’s injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Township officials were expected to examine the bridge to make sure it is structurally sound before reopening the road.
