DAYTON —
Southbound I-75 south of U.S. 35 was closed early Tuesday morning for a car-semi accident.
I-75 southbound was closed at the U.S. 35 exit for about 90 minutes.
The truck driver told News Center 7 that he was rear-ended by an SUV as both vehicles were going southbound. The semi pulled over. The driver said the SUV drifted in front of him, stopped, and caught fire.
The semi driver said he got out of his rig and went to the SUV where he pulled the driver out of the burning vehicle.
No word yet on whether or not any charges will be filed.
