TROTWOOD —
A Trotwood police cruiser was heavily damaged in a crash Friday night and police said the officer had the right of way.
The crash occurred at about 10;30 p.m. at the intersection of Little Richmond Road and Ohio 49.
Trotwood police said the officer was traveling west on Little Richmond approaching the intersection when an eastbound vehicle attempted to turn left onto Ohio 49. The cruiser then struck the side of the vehicle.
No one was injured.
Police said the motorist will be cited because the person did not yield the right of way.
