Twilight debut draws long lines at Rave

BEAVERCREEK —

Hundreds of young fans of the Twilight Saga movies lined up in the cold Thursday night to see Breaking Dawn Part 2.

The line of movie-goers wrapped around the building for the midnight showing at Rave Cinemas at The Greene on Glengarry Drive in Beavercreek.

An employee there said 1,500 tickets were sold for the 10 p.m. showing of Part 2.

A person sitting in the theater for the 7:20 p.m. showing of Part 1 bragged on News Center 7’s Facebook page that she bought the “marathon ticket” and wouldn’t have to wait in the long line for the midnight show.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is expected to bring in an estimated $131.5 million at the box office, according to the Internet Movie Database website.
