Up to 24 break-ins possibly linked, sheriff says

As many as 24 break-ins that have occurred at businesses around the county since the beginning of December could be linked, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Warren County Sheriff’s office and Mason, Monroe, Middletown, and Lebanon Police Departments are all investigating similar offenses that occurred between Dec. 3 and Dec. 11

On Dec. 5, a hair salon on Dixie Highway in Franklin Twp. was broken into after an unknown person or person used a rock to break the glass on the front door. The suspect of suspects entered the business, but did not take anything.

On Dec. 7, a second hair salon on Ohio 122 in Franklin Twp was broken into, with the perpetrator again using a rock to break the glass on the front door. This time a cash drawer was taken.

Video was obtained from Kids Corner in Middletown where one of the offense occurred. the video shows a white male using a rock to break out the front door of the business and taking cash from a register.

A gold or silv3er late 1990s or mid-200s Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus was also seen leaving one of the sites in Middletown,
