Area cities will soon decide which pothole-filled streets they will spend millions of dollars resurfacing this year and which ones will have to make due with patching and filling.
We asked readers on Facebook where they thought the worst streets were located. Here’s a sampling of what they said.
• Harshman Road between Brandt and Valley
• Main Street in front of Miami Valley Hospital
• Woodman Drive between Patterson and Brandt Pike
• Wright Brothers Parkway
• Smithville Road from Belmont area to Springfield Street
• U.S. 42 near Centerville Road and Spring Valley
• Dayton-Yellow Springs Road near Five Points
• Stroop Road near the Meijer store
• Salem Avenue right before Gettysburg Avenue
• Harshman Road in front of Stebbins High School
• Woodman Avenut all the way to Harshman Road
• Stroop Road near Ohio 48
• Valley Street near Harshman Road
• Dayton Yellow Springs Road near the cement plant
• Intersection of Mad River and Alex Bell
Are there other streets that you think deserve extra attention?
