JEFFERSON TWP. —
A woman was arrested Friday after she threatened her boyfriend with a gun.
Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies and a Trotwood police officer responded shortly before 7 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of South Iona Avenue.
The officers encountered a male outside the residence stating his girlfriend was inside the house with a gun, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Two other people were inside the home and they were removed safely.
The woman eventually surrendered, walking out of the home with her arms raised, according to the release.
She was arrested on suspicion of felonious assault.
Another female inside the residence was arrested on an unrelated felony warrant.
The sheriff’s office did not identify those who were arrested.
The incident remains under investigation.
