In response to the cancellation of a First Four Festival, the University of Dayton and the First Four Local Organizing Committee have planned other events.

The cancellation of the original festival is the result of a recently reached agreement between the NCAA and Dayton’s LOC. This year, there will be several public events. They include the second annual “First-4-4-Miler” run (starting and stopping at UD Arena), a basketball centric event and the 10 tournament games at UD Arena over four days.

Events will take place in conjunction with the NCAA First Four, Second and Third Rounds beginning Sunday, March 17 and concluding on Sunday, March 24 in Dayton.
